Job Description

Welcomes all adult consumers as they enter the store, checks whether the interested potential consumer is of legal age as needed, memorize them, and stays available all the time; understands the consumers’ experience and needs; has sales strategies; guides consumers through all relevant store experiences. Assists consumers end-to-end in store and handles payments; manages the after-sales service and support; stocks the shelves and cleans the store

Responsibilities

  • Applies PMI Good Conversion Practices and other guidelines to ensure that interactions are limited only to interested adult nicotine users, and adheres to guidelines to keeping all regulatory requirements
  • Ensure customers are attended to and engaged when entering the store
  • Asks consumers effective questions and listens actively to determine what their needs and preferences are (and memorizes them), and to obtain useful information about their nicotine consumption background, experience, behavior and reason for store visit and potential transition to smoke-free products
  • He/she has a friendly, warm, and personalized approach with customers, leading interactions and conversations with customers in a natural and engaging way to encourage interaction
  • Following procedures, guides consumers through a guided trial (where appropriate) of the IQOS products and services portfolio using visual and verbal approaches, and provides other relevant information to the interested customer
  • Adapts the trial and speech according to the consumers’ needs and behavior
  • Manages customer queries and objections effectively, flexing approach where necessary to provide effective product or service solutions to the customer (e.g.: trial device, trade in device etc.)
  • Explains IQOS service and loyalty propositions to find effective solutions to customer needs.
  • Manages purchase and cash transactions as part of end of sales service
  • With the appropriate voluntary customer’s consent, he/she registers them in a digital database.
  • Follows up with customers on a regular basis, builds and maintains relationship with returning consumers, leveraging Clientelling systems (where applicable)
  • Manages the after-sales service and ensures the consumers’ satisfaction:
    • If a client returns to the store unsatisfied, he/she acknowledges the consumers’ complaints and delves into the reasons for it to understand what the issue is
    • In a client-experience-based strategy, he/she offers basic technical support, but also alternative products and replacements to ensure the consumers’ conversion
  • Stocks the shelves and cleans the store:
    • Every day, he/she checks if the shelves are stocked
    • Informs the registered consumers of any new product
    • Following appropriate guidelines, and in collaboration with his/her team, contributes to the store’s cleanliness every day

Requirements

  • Warm character and enthusiastic personality
  • Relevant consumer-facing experience e.g., service-led, hospitality, Consumer care or retail experience
  • English and Russian language proficiency is preferable
  • Experience across multiple skillsets including sales, customer service etc. preferable

Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors with a positive attitude.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain meeting rooms.
  • Provide basic information and respond to inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
  • Handle and register incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Assist other departments with administrative duties when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
